I like that you called it a workout, because that’s just what it is, but for our minds. Our culture puts a lot of emphasis on exercising our physical bodies, but what about our minds? It also needs training and I agree that these prolonged meditations in silence are one of the best things we can do for our minds. The practice of non-judgmental observation is one of the toughest, but most beautiful things out there.
