Thank you for the thoughtful response, Nelson. I completely agree — there’s nothing quite like walking the aisles of a local or used bookstore and stumbling upon a book that way. The raw sensations of being in a bookstore, seeing, smelling, touching, hearing… it’s stimulates all of our senses. In a world so heavily invested in optimization and algorithms, there is really no replacement for raw and “random” experiences!
